School Governance

The school is governed by a Board of Directors elected at the annual meeting of the membership for a three-year term.

Board members have staggered terms so that every year approximately 2 board seats are up for election.

Parents of students attending JA are members of the non-profit corporation, also known as Jefferson Academy. Seven parents serve on the Board.
