Core Knowledge Sequence

The Core Knowledge Sequence is a detailed sequence of specific content taught in language arts, history, geography, mathematics, science, and the fine arts. This curriculum provides a solid, coherent foundation for learning, while allowing flexibility for innovation by JA’s educational leadership.

The Core Knowledge Sequence implements the goal of providing a core of shared knowledge that JA students should learn. The sequence provides coherent content from grade to grade, encouraging steady academic progress as the students build their knowledge and skills.
