A Glimpse Behind the Scenes

For several years, our campuses have been setting aside funds to help with future improvements. We continue working to develop our programs in order to provide students an exceptional educational experience. The JA Foundation is organizing a fundraiser so JA families can help move these projects from the planning stage into reality. Currently we are looking into the following:

• Secondary:  Installing an all weather track, sound system and bleachers/grandstand on the soccer field. We have ordered architectural plans and will be reviewing those shortly.  The secondary team is taking a “site plan” approach, reviewing the current layout for long-term viability.

• Elementary:  Purchasing Mtn View Church, where parents park for drop off and pickup, in order to expand Jag Care and the soon to start PreK program.  We have ordered site surveys to assess the actual cost of the purchase and renovation. The previously planned crosswalk and sidewalk from JA to the church parking lot is now complete, providing increased safety. 

• Summit South:  Researching a tenant build out at the Conifer location in order to access 4,000 sq ft of unused space and increase enrollment by 40-50 students.

• Summit Westminster:  2 years ago they completed a build out adding 30% more space and allowing them to now serve 900 homeschooled students.
