What is CKC?
Core Knowledge Connections:
Students engage in a combination of collaborative and independent activities, including hands-on projects, interactive games, structured writing tasks, and interdisciplinary explorations. These experiences are designed to deepen their understanding of key concepts in social studies, science, and literature. Through both group collaboration and individual inquiry, students create meaningful cross-curricular connections and participate in experiments that foster critical thinking, creativity, and applied learning.

Hello!
I'm Katie Seidel. I am in my second year of teaching CKC and love the opportunity to teach so many kids and a wide range of subjects. This is my 11th year teaching at JA. I love JA for its close-knit community and the core knowledge base of education. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family doing anything outdoors. We love camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. I can't wait to dig into many fun Core subjects this year!
