Principal Message -
What an incredible Fun Run. Thank you to the folks at Boosterthon and our amazing PTO for making the day a huge success. It was great to see all our staff actively engaged in all the fun activities throughout the week and running/walking with the students was the greatest highlight of the week. I appreciate all the positive feedback we have received about the Fun Run, about the staff, and about PTO. Thank you!!
Below are a few items I wanted to share with you-
Jeffco Public School is offering an educational activity for families on the impact of dyslexia on education. Please see the following link for more information -Dyslexia for a Day Simulation for the Community - October 22
Lost and Found- Please remember to check the Lost and Found. Items left after conferences will be donated.
The STEM classroom is completing a year-long community service project benefiting Ronald McDonald House. We are collecting soda tabs all year long. We have included this video that was created specifically for schools that are participating. Video Link
We just purchased two-bucket balances and gram stackers to weigh how much we collect for the remainder of the school year in STEM...a great math connection to our learning! Students have been bringing full bags at a time to STEM, and we are rewarding them with a prize from the prize box for supporting our efforts. So bring in your soda tabs and let's start collecting.
