If you haven't noticed, we're surrounded by construction! Aside from the construction on the field and along W. 112th (drive slow!), we have the construction site right across our building.
At the end of last week, we started to notice that new "Sidewalk Closed" signs were being placed along the south side of W. 113th. Due to this development, we are asking parents to avoid using the south side lane for student pick-up in the afternoon. We came to this decision as there are multiple signs along the sidewalk, and the increased amount of construction traffic going in and out of the site.
During pick-up, you can park along Reed Way, where there is a bike lane. You can also park on the north side of W. 113th. Please refrain from using the MKS parking lot, as it is private and you may be ticketed.
We understand that this may adversely impact your family plan regarding pick-up, but the safety of our students is our top priority. Thank you for your continued cooperation this school year.
