Tim Matlick has an M.Ed. in education from North Eastern State University (Oklahoma) and a B.S.E. in K-12 Physical Education from John Brown University (Arkansas). He taught and coached in a boarding high school for nine years before going into business for a decade. He returned to education, serving Colorado charter schools for 17 years as a school board member, principal, and area superintendent.
Michelle Fox joined the JA team in the summer of 2021 as the Human Resource Coordinator. Prior to coming to JA, she worked in Human Resources as the recruiting, training, and development specialist at H&M retailer for 10 years.
Michelle lived in Europe before moving to the United States in 1994. She relocated with her husband and two children to Colorado in 2014, and is very thankful to live where the winters are actually tolerable. While they are not a skiing family, they do thoroughly enjoy hiking, camping, and living in a state that supports their outdoor hobbies. Michelle also enjoys reading, attending concerts, puzzling, and drinking all the coffee.
Tiffany Blakley is a Colorado native with a B.A. in Behavioral Science from Metro State University. She has dedicated her career to helping others, working as an elementary school teacher, a social worker supporting individuals with disabilities, and the owner of a residential and commercial cleaning company.
Tiffany is active in her community, volunteering with organizations like the Broomfield North Metro Kiwanis Club and the Polka Dot Powerhouse Westminster Chapter. Tiffany is a proud mom to three young men. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys reading, attending theatre and comedy shows, and dancing.
Dawn Buringa is excited to join Jefferson Academy Charter School as the new Executive Assistant/Project Coordinator after 30 years with Jeffco Public Schools. Her experience includes supporting all schools in Jeffco with discipline processes and advising Charter Schools on applications, renewals, and policies. She also helped develop the Threat Management and Judicial Services Team with the Department of School Safety.
A Colorado native, Dawn enjoys spending time outdoors—floating and fishing local rivers, playing golf, and attending music festivals with friends, family, and her dog. She’s also a big fan of CSU football (Go Rams!) and the NFL.

He returned to Australia and competed professionally in the Australian Rules Football League. As a teacher in Australia, he taught 4th grade, technology, 2nd, and 3rd grade. When he and his wife had their first child, he "hung up his cleats and basketball shoes" and they headed back to Colorado where he was a teacher and Dean of Students at Peak to Peak Charter School in Lafayette. He was an administrator at Prairie View High School and Middle School, AP and AD at Legacy High School for 11 years, and finished his 16th year as an administrator as the AP and AD at Jefferson Jr/Sr High. He and his wife have two children; their daughter Tyler is 22 and works in the medical field, and their son Riley is 20 and is in his 3rd year in the nursing program at Regis University. Principal Feddema is very excited to be at JA Elementary and is looking forward to a great year.
Mr. Stadler began his teaching career at Jefferson Academy in 1999 in a 4th grade classroom on the elementary campus and enters his first year as the secondary principal.
