1. Honoring our Volunteers and Tenured Staff

At the June board meeting, we were able to recognize the dedication and hard work of our school volunteers and tenured staff in a meaningful way. Volunteers generously give their time and energy to support students, teachers, and events, often working behind the scenes to make a lasting impact. Tenured staff members bring years of experience, commitment, and leadership, serving as pillars of stability and excellence within the school. By celebrating their efforts, we not only express our gratitude but also inspire a culture of service, respect, and pride that strengthens the entire educational environment. Thank you to all the individuals recognized.  You can view the presentation here.

2. Building Projects - Track and Church Updates

As of May 30th, we have officially broken ground on the new track at the Secondary campus! This project will be worked on throughout the summer months with an expected fall completion. At the Elementary campus, compliance projects such as fire alarms, fencing, and playground updates are underway to ensure the church facility will be ready for our Pre-K and JagCare students in August.

4. JA Coal Creek Canyon Success

Principal Mott updated the board on the great year JA CCC had! They kept enrollment active throughout the year and finished with increased enrollment. Academic testing was strong, “Super Mondays” were a huge success, and collaboration with Summit Westminster proved beneficial for the students and teachers. Mrs. Mott also expects after school care and Pre-K to begin this coming school year! Click here to view the JA CCC presentation.

5. Thank You Outgoing Board Members

The newly cemented JA Board would like to thank Flavio Quintana and Anil Mathai for their three years of committed service to JA’s Board of Directors. Under their leadership, the campuses continued to develop in the four pillars of JA’s strategic plan. Their passion for the school was clearly evident during their tenure. Board and Committee meetings require time and effort, and we thank them for serving JA with excellence.

Sincerely,

Your JA Board
